Scale of Pay: Rs. 29100-50500 plus VDA & other allowances as applicable.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of a Foreign going ship, granted under M.S. Act, 1958 or equivalent. Experience as Chief Officer on a foreign going ship or as Executive Officer in Navy.

Upper age limit: Below 35 years

The candidate selected as Pilot shall execute a bond to serve Kandla Port Trust for a minimum period of 5 years on completion of probation period of 2 years.

MARINE ENGINEER

Number of posts: 02 POSTS (1-OBC, 1-ST)

Scale of pay: Rs. 29100-54500 for those with MOT 1^st Class combined certificate/ Rs. 20600-46500 for those with MOT 2^nd Class Certificate plus VDA & other allowances as applicable.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential: First OR Second Class BOT / MOT Certificate of Competency as Marine Engineer (Motor) OR combined.

Upper age limit: Below 40 years.

SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER (SPECIALIST)

Number of posts: 01 POST (UR)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 20600-46500 + NPA plus VDA & other allowances as applicable.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. MBBS degree from a recognized university
2. Post graduate medical degree in General Surgery from a recognized university
3. Post qualification experience of 3 years in a hospital in the relevant field of specialization.

Upper age limit: 40 years.

MEDICAL OFFICER

Number of posts: 01 POST (1-Physical Handicapped)

Scale of pay: Rs.20600-46500 + NPA plus VDA & other allowances as applicable.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. M.B.B.S degree from a recognized university
2. One year experience in a hospital, after completion of internship of one year.

Desirable: A post graduate medical degree from a recognized university.

Upper age limit: 35 years.

LAW OFFICER Gr.I

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential:

1. Degree in Law from a recognized university.

Desirable: Should be a practicing lawyer of not less than 7 years standing or (i) Should be graduate of Law and entitled to be on roll as advocate. (ii) Should have worked in legal division for not less than 3 years in a Govt./Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous body.

Upper age limit : 40 years.

ASSISTANT ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (FLOATING CRAFT)

Scale of Pay: Rs.16400-40500 plus VDA & other allowances as applicable.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
2. Experience in maintenance of marine electrical installation for a period of 3 years in case of Degree holder and 5 years in case of Diploma holders OR Should have worked as Chief Electrical Artificer in Indian Navy

PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Number of posts: 01(ST)

Scale of Pay: Rs.16400-40500 plus other allowances as applicable.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Graduate with 5 years experience in stenographic work preferably in dealing with confidential and secret matters of Matriculate with 10 years experience in stenographic work preferably in dealing with confidential and secret matters.
2. Shorthand and typewriting speed of 120 w.p.m. and 40 w.p.m. respectively.

Upper age limit: 35 years

GENERAL

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and the period of service rendered in Defence plus 3 years for Ex-Servicemen and 10 years for physically handicapped candidates.

Several other benefits like Conveyance Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Free Medical treatment for self and family, Leave Encashment, Group Insurance, HRA etc. as per rules, are available. Residential accommodation could also be made available as per rule in force.

Only SC/ST candidates called for interview will be paid travel expenses equal to 1st Class Railway return fare by shortest route as per rules, provided they are not in Government Service.
