Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work under a project sponsored jointly by the Department of Science and technology (DST) India and the Russian Foundation of Basic Research (RFBR) Russia titled “The spectral and photometric monitoring of gamma-ray burst afterglows, core collapse supernovae and their host galaxies”. The above JRF position is tenable for a period of 2 years.
Emoluments: As per DST norms (Rs. 16,000.0 and HRA per month for 2 years)

Eligibility:
M.Sc. (Physics) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university and NET/GATE qualified. Experience in astronomy and astrophysics will be given preference.
