Note:

1. One post of Assistant Professor is ‘Temporary’ but likely to continue (TLC), all other posts are ‘Permanent’.
2. The number of posts at different levels (i.e. Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor) under each category of reservation (i.e. SC, OBC or General) may increase or decrease.

Professor - Architecture: (As per AICTE)

Qualifications: 

• Qualifications as that are for the post of Associate Professor, as applicable. 
• Post PhD publications and guiding PhD students is highly desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years teaching and/or research and/or industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. 
                                      or 
• Minimum of 13 years’ experience in teaching and/ or Research and/or Industry. 
• In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/IPR/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members in Selection committee. 
• If  the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications/IPR/patents etc. as deemed fit by the expert members in Selection committee.
• In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 10 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid.

Associate Professor: (As per AICTE)

Qualifications: 

• Qualification as that is for the post of Assistant Professor, as applicable and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.
• Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry of which at least 2 years shall be post PhD is desirable. 
• In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 5 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid.

Assistant Professor: (As per AICTE)   

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Master’s Degree.

Experience:

• None

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:

1. All the appointments shall be made under the ‘Gautam Buddh Technical University’ (hereinafter called the University)
2. The appointments to all the posts shall, initially, be made on probation as per the Regulations of the University.
3. Higher starting pay may be admissible depending upon the suitability of the candidate.
4. The allowances are payable as per the State Government rules and adopted by the University from time to time.
5. The persons appointed shall be entitled to the benefits of ‘Provident fund’, Pension’, and ‘Gratuity’ etc. as per the rules applicable in the University from time to time.
6. Other conditions associated with the advertised AICTE pay-scales, shall be applicable as approved by the State Government and per the rules framed by the University, from time to time, 
7. All other terms and conditions of service shall be as per rules of University, made applicable from time to time.

GUIDELINES FOR FILLING UP THE APPLICATION FORM:

• The ‘prescribed Application Form’  downloaded  from  the  website,  must  be  printed  on ‘White A-4’ size, Thick paper, preferably, of ‘120 gsm’
• The  application  complete  in  all  respects  must  be  submitted  in  a  closed  envelope superscripted with the ‘Name of the Post’ applied for and the ‘Advertisement No’.
• Applications received after the last date shall not be considered.
• Incomplete or unsigned applications are liable to be rejected.
• Name of the post applied for and the Branch/Department must be filled in the appropriate space clearly.
• Separate application is required to be made for each post.
• After submitting the application, if the postal address for communication (as mentioned in the item no.11 (a) of the application form) changes, it must be communicated to the Faculty Office immediately by the candidate. In the absence of the information of changed address, the  Faculty/University  office  shall  not  be  responsible  for  any  loss  of  opportunity  to candidate,  in  case  the  Faculty/University  Office  communicates  at  the  postal  address mentioned originally at item no. 11 (a) of the application form.
